Best Brawler from Each Class in April 2024
Hello, brawlers! The rankings of brawlers are constantly evolving, and it’s crucial to use the best brawlers at any given time. Supercell regularly buffs and nerfs brawlers to maintain balance in the game. If a brawler becomes too overpowered, adjustments are made to their stats to ensure the game remains fun and fair for everyone. This ongoing process is why brawler performance continues to change
In this article, we’ll highlight the best brawlers from each class for March 2024. Using data from March 4th to 22nd, we’ve selected the top-performing brawlers based on their pick rate, use rate, and win rate. We’ll cover the best brawlers from each class, including Marksman, Tank, Support, Assassin, and more
Angelo – Marksman
Angelo is the top marksman this month, known for his long-range attacks and exceptional mobility. He can charge his basic attacks to deal more damage, and with his fast movement speed and the ability to move over water, Angelo can unleash devastating damage while staying at a safe distance from his enemies.
His Super creates a poison cloud around him, dealing poison damage to enemies within the area over time. Angelo can stay within the cloud to further enhance his basic attacks, adding poison that increases damage by 25% for up to four ticks.
Angelo’s gadgets offer versatility in combat. Stinging Flight allows him to escape or jump over obstacles, and when used near an enemy, it steals some of their HP to heal him. Master Fletcher enhances his next arrow, enabling it to pierce through enemies and obstacles, making it effective for hitting targets behind cover.
For his Star Powers, Angelo has two great options for survivability. Empower adds a healing effect to his Super, healing him over time, while Flow increases his movement speed by 25% when on water, allowing for greater mobility and evasion. Both Star Powers provide Angelo with the ability to sustain himself and stay mobile in battle.
Ash – Tank
Currently, Ash is the top brawler in the Tank class. His high HP, fast reload speed, very fast movement speed, and impressive damage output, along with gadgets that recover HP or boost damage, make him a highly versatile tank. Whether you prefer an aggressive or defensive playstyle, Ash excels in both roles.
Ash features a unique rage bar with two segments. As he deals or receives damage, his rage bar fills up, enhancing his damage output and movement speed. Each segment increases Ash’s damage by 50% and his movement speed by 50, making him even more dangerous as his rage grows.
For his basic attack, Ash uses his broom to deliver a fan-shaped smash that sends a shockwave, damaging all enemies in range. His Super summons five robotic rats that target the nearest enemy, exploding upon contact and greatly boosting his Rage. It’s best to use his Super when his Rage is low, as it helps quickly refill the bar, and it can also reveal hidden enemies.
The Chill Pill gadget is perfect for defensive play. It consumes Rage to heal Ash, with the amount of HP recovered depending on his current Rage level. After using this gadget, you can follow up with his Super to quickly regenerate Rage and continue the fight. It’s a great combination for sustained survival.
Ash’s second gadget, Rotten Banana, pairs well with his Mad As Heck Star Power. The gadget consumes 25% of Ash’s HP but instantly increases his Rage by 40%, while the Star Power boosts his reload speed by up to 40%. This setup is ideal for aggressive players, allowing Ash to deal more damage while reloading faster and keeping his Rage high
Doug – Support
Doug is currently the top support brawler, surpassing others like Poco, Ruffs, Kit, Gus, and Gray. This hot dog enthusiast stands out with his unique ability to heal allies and deal damage to enemies simultaneously. With high HP, similar to tanks, and fast movement speed, Doug excels as the best support for close-range brawlers, efficiently healing and damaging without wasting any basic attack potential.
Doug’s Super is a game-changer. He throws a hot dog to an ally, which has a long range and can pass through obstacles. If the ally holding the hot dog is eliminated within 5 seconds, they are revived with 100% HP at the same location and receive additional ammo. Doug can even use this on himself, making it incredibly versatile.
Although the resurrection doesn’t provide invincibility like respawning at the base, Doug’s Fast Food star power grants the revived ally (or Doug himself) a 100-point movement speed boost for 3 seconds, making it easier to retreat or re-engage the enemy.
Doug’s gadgets offer strategic flexibility. His first gadget doubles the healing effect on allies but doesn’t damage enemies, making it perfect for keeping teammates alive. The second gadget boosts his next attack’s damage to enemies but doesn’t heal allies. Using this gadget in conjunction with his Super allows Doug to revive an ally and immediately charge at enemies to deal significant damage.
His second star power, Self Service, heals Doug for 20% of the damage dealt. When using the second gadget to increase his attack damage, the healing effect of Self Service is also doubled, allowing Doug to heal even more while dealing heavy damage
When Bibi’s attack bar is fully charged, she activates her Home Run shot, which knocks back enemies upon impact. Her Super unleashes a bouncing ball that damages enemies in its path. The ball can rebound off walls, hitting opponents multiple times for additional damage.
In her hypercharge state, Bibi’s Super becomes even more powerful, splitting into two balls upon hitting an enemy. Each ball deals the same amount of damage, significantly amplifying her impact. Bibi’s Vitamin Booster gadget heals her over time, restoring HP per second for 4 seconds. Her second gadget, Extra Sticky, adds a slowing effect to her next Super, giving her more control over the battlefield.
Her Star Powers further enhance her abilities when her Home Run shot is charged. One increases her movement speed, allowing her to chase down or evade enemies, while the other reduces all incoming damage by 12%, boosting her durability in combat. Bibi’s balanced mix of offense, defense, and utility makes her a formidable presence in any match
Sam – Assassin
Believe it or not, Sam has taken the top spot in March, surpassing even Leon and Crow. This powerhouse brawler comes equipped with knuckles that allow him to punch enemies twice, dealing massive damage. With high HP, he excels in close-range combat, while his knuckles give him incredible speed, making him a formidable force.
When Sam activates his Super, he throws his knuckle busters, dealing damage to all enemies in their path. Afterward, Sam gains a movement speed boost and fights with his fists, which deal half the normal damage. His attack bar also refills much faster during this time. Using his Super again returns the knuckle busters to Sam, dealing additional damage to any enemies in between. Sam can also pick up the knuckle busters without needing to use his Super.
Sam’s first gadget, Magnetic Field, can be activated when his knuckle busters are on the ground. This gadget pulls all nearby enemies toward the knuckles, giving Sam an opportunity to follow up with powerful attacks. His second gadget adds a knockback effect to his next knuckle-activated Super. When the knuckle busters land on the ground, they release an electric pulse that knocks back all nearby enemies.
His Hearty Recovery star power is incredibly useful, healing Sam for 20% of his HP every time he picks up his knuckles. This means his Super is always ready when his knuckles are on. If you and an enemy are near walls, Sam can throw the knuckle busters toward the wall, pick them up to recover HP, and heal quickly after a fight.
Sam’s second star power, Remote Recharge, accelerates his Super charge when enemies are near his knuckle busters. The more enemies near the knuckles, the faster the Super charges. This allows Sam to passively recharge his Super without needing to actively engage in combat, making it easier to retrieve his knuckles and continue fighting
Nita – Damage Dealer
While Chuck is a formidable damage dealer, Nita outshines him in March with a higher win rate, proving herself as one of the top damage dealers. She deals damage to enemies with her shockwaves, which have a very fast reload speed. In addition to her high damage, Nita can summon a powerful Bear with high HP and moderate damage to fight by her side.
Nita also has an epic gear that boosts the Bear’s damage by 25%. With her Hyper Bear Star Power, the Bear’s attack speed is increased by 60%, making it even more effective. You can summon the Bear near an enemy by throwing your Super at them, and then use the Bear Paws gadget to stun all enemies within the Bear’s range, allowing you and the Bear to easily defeat opponents.
Since the Bear has a relatively slow movement speed, opponents can sometimes defeat it before it gets close. In these cases, Nita’s Faux Fur gadget is incredibly helpful. It reduces all damage taken by the Bear by 35% for 3 seconds, giving it more survivability. This gadget works even better when paired with the Hyper Bear star power, ensuring the Bear can stay in the fight longer.
With her second star power, Bear with Me, both Nita and her Bear heal each other when one of them deals damage to an enemy. Nita recovers HP whenever the Bear hits an opponent, and the Bear heals when Nita deals damage. Engaging in combat together with this star power makes Nita and her Bear a powerful duo that excels in sustaining themselves while dealing damage.
Larry & Lawrie – Artillery
Larry & Lawrie is the best Artillery Brawler in the Brawl Stars. In most maps and game modes, he can easily dominate the opponents. His Super, Basic attacks, and gadgets let him handle all kinds of situations.
His basic attacks throw a ticket bundle that explodes twice on landing, with very little delay between explosions, and damages nearby enemies. You can predict your enemies’ movement and time your attacks a little ahead of them to deal maximum damage with both explosions. Brawlers with slow movement speed are easy targets for Larry.
Larry’s Super is super helpful in locating opponents hiding in bushes. Using the Super, Larry summons his twin, Lawrie. Then Lawie automatically tracks the opponents and shoots them with his gun. Lawrie shoots 3 bullets in a fan-shaped area, each dealing 1400 damage at max level.
Artillery brawlers are at a disadvantage when someone chases them. It’s difficult for them to position their projectiles in the right place. But Larry has a card up in his sleeve to handle someone chasing them. His gadget Order: Swap swaps his weapon with Lawrie’s gun. Then he can shoot the gun and Lawrie throws the explosive bundles until Larry is defeated or uses the gadget again.
With the star power, Protocol: Assist, when Lawrie is in your range and damages enemies, it refills 30% of your ammo.
You can also build survival-based builds using the Order: Fall Back gadget and Protocol: Protect star power. When you use this gadget, both of you dash toward each other and heal 33% of HP. Equipping the Protocol: Protect star power, Larry takes 30% less damage when Lawrie is within 12-tile range by transferring the damage to Lawrie.
Mr. P – Controller
Mr. P throws a suitcase at enemies, dealing damage on impact, and then it bounces, dealing area damage. The suitcase can also bounce off obstacles or reach its maximum range, hitting enemies in its path. Enemies who remain stationary or try to escape will take damage from both the initial suitcase hit and its bounce.
His Super places a home base that spawns penguin-headed robots called porters. These porters automatically target and chase the nearest enemy brawler, attacking them until they are destroyed. After a porter is defeated, the home base will spawn another one in 4 seconds, as long as the base remains active.
Mr. P’s Revolving Door Star Power increases the porters’ HP by 20% and damage by 30%, while his epic gear further boosts their damage by 25%. Together, these enhancements make the porters powerful damage dealers. His second star power, Handle With Care, increases the after-bounce damage of his suitcase by 40% every 4 seconds.
Mr. P’s first gadget, Service Bell, enhances his current porter, increasing its size, damage, and HP. If the porter is at half HP or lower, it will fully heal after using this gadget. His second gadget, Porter Reinforcements, spawns a porter where his suitcase lands after a basic attack. This can be used to distract opponents, forcing them to waste ammo, or to locate hidden enemies when you don’t have your Super available
